Renewal of FOCC membership
The FOCC had problems with membership records and who paid and when in 2011.
To avoid problems in 2012 and the future the FOCC has to have a standard method to
renew in the FOCC and stick to it rigidly.
Any person wishing to renew their membership of the FOCC has fill out all the
information that is required on the FOCC 2012 renewal form. This membership form is then
presented to the Treasurer for action. If all the information that is required on the renewal form
is not present the Treasurer will not accept the membership renewal application and will request
that all the information requested be provided.
When the Treasurer receives a correctly filled out membership form he shall accept the
form and the fee required and make out a receipt for the amount paid. It is the members’
responsibility to ensure that the 2012 membership form is filled out and presented to the
treasurer and that a receipt is made out by the treasurer. What happens to the receipt is not in
question as there will be a copy of the receipt in the receipt book.
Memberships can be renewed from the receipt of the FOCC 2012 membership form that
should go out with the December Cam torque and can be found on the web site. Membership is
due on 1 January 2012 and can be paid without loss of benefits up until midnight on the date of
the Annual General Meeting in 2012 that is 12 March 2012.
The DTEI will be advised after that date of any lapsed member who has a vehicle on
Historic Rego and the Historic Rego will be cancelled by DTEI. It is important to the FOCC that
the FOCC members renew their membership in the time available.
